Greening the Region: Where Green Meets Green

Funded in part by the U.S. Department of Energy, State Energy Program, the conference is a major initiative to offer leadership in transforming the region toward renewable energy. The conference focuses on promoting related public policy goals to make communities in New Jersey and the region more sustainable. The 2-day event is meant to stimulate green business, design, planning and consumption, and to maximize use of renewable energy. It also aims to help conferees minimize the use of non-renewable energy and help NJ reduce its carbon footprint.

California is on the leading edge of the green school movement, creating a statewide framework and incentives for sustainable schools. This groundbreaking event will focus on the strategies, technologies and services that will ensure that new and existing public schools are models of sustainability and provide healthy learning environments for students.

Pfister Energy recently participated as an exhibitor
at WEEC 2007 World Energy Engineering Congress August 15-17, 2007 in Atlanta, Georgia. This event was a focus for ways to reduce electricity needs and for Wayne to speak at an onsite seminar about building integrated renewable energy. Wayne was interviewed by Fox5 Atlanta for their piece on New Energy Solutions and quoted in The Atlanta Journal's article titled Energy savers want more tax incentives.
