As President of Pfister Energy, Wayne Pfisterer oversees the company’s strategy by guiding business development direction and developing innovative strategies to merge and integrate the latest renewable energy technologies with construction materials for seamlessly integrated systems. He brings 30 years of energy and industry expertise to his position and previously served as President for Pfister Roofing, an award-winning, full-service roofing and waterproofing company. Under Pfisterer’s leadership, Pfister Energy has received multiple Inc500/Inc5000 awards based on significant and consistent annual company growth.
William Cole (Billy) is the President of the Pfister Energy office in Baltimore, Maryland. Billy oversees the company’s strategy and new business development efforts, as well as the project management and financing for customer projects. Since earning a BS in Business Administration in 2001, Billy has completed numerous NRCA, financial and renewable energy courses.
Billy also currently serves as President of Cole Roofing, an award-winning roofing company that has been providing quality commercial roofing solutions for over 95 years. Billy has worked with numerous companies to integrate renewable energy systems onto their properties. Billy’s technology expertise includes photovoltaics, wind turbines, daylighting systems, solar lighting systems, energy efficiency services, solar thermal systems, rainwater harvesting and green roofing.
Doug Bagwill is primarily responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with Pfister Energy’s clientele, licensees, and industry partners. Bagwill guides the project development process of multiple renewable and energy efficient technologies from lead development through project completion. Possessing a diverse background of energy system design, project development, and PV project finance, he facilitates the integration of technology, finance and construction best practices to bring the greatest value to Pfister’s clients and industry partners. Bagwill earned a BS from the University of Vermont in Natural Resource Planning with a Minor in Green Building and Community Design.
An accomplished, hands-on leader with an extensive track record in consultative B2B selling, sales management and technology finance, Joe’s experience in leading high performing sales teams in high growth technology businesses is put to good use at Pfister Energy. He’s known for a ‘common sense’ approach to demystifying and simplifying energy investments for both owner and investor stakeholders.
After a career in the IT products and services business, Joe pivoted to the commercial solar business in 2008. Since then, he and his teams have successfully developed, sold and financed well over $150 million in commercial solar PV projects. In the past few years, an interest in energy efficiency, storage and other energy technologies has expanded his ability to assist customers.
Joe holds a BBA in Marketing from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA in Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Doug Groves is General Manager of Pfister Energy of Baltimore. His role includes implementing systems in the business with the goal of continuous improvement in all phases of the Pfister Energy Enterprise. He provides oversight and implementation of Marketing, Human Resource development and general support of all business functions.
Doug is a former CEO of Carapace LLC, past President of The Joy Companies, and a former Chair for Vistage International. He also serves on several Boards of Advisors.
Doug’s undergraduate is from Wheeling Jesuit University with a Masters in Business from Central Michigan University.
Lucy is the Vice President of Marketing at Pfister Energy. She brings over 20 years of experience in both traditional and digital marketing and has built marketing strategies that align with corporate goals, drive innovation and process improvements to grow market share. Her primary responsibilities include brand strategy, channel marketing, strategic development, marketing communications and event planning / promotion.
Prior to joining Pfister Energy, she worked in strategic business development and marketing at several Fortune 500 companies like AvisBudgetGroup, Toys "R" Us and Gerber. A recent notable accomplishment was partnering with Revenue Management, Pricing and Operations to close the gap on promoting high-end inventory for the Avis brand and produced an immediate 20% improvement in conversion rate and over $10 million per month in incremental revenue.
Jim Krieg is primarily responsible for developing and engineering commercial solar electrical designs for Pfister Energy. Jim began designing hydraulic and pneumatic systems soon after college, but found the solar industry is a much more positive career choice.
Shamrock Green Electric, Sunwize Technologies, SHARP Solar Engineering Solutions Group, Petra Systems and Geopeak Energy are the solar companies who have taught him to become an expert Senior Electrical Engineer.
Well versed with the NEC and IBC codes mentored under several licensed professional engineers has fine-tuned Jim’s ability to create efficient, accurate, and fast design sets whether it be a small commercial roof top, carport or utility scale ground mount.
Jim obtained a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at Iowa State University.
