As President of Pfister Energy, Wayne Pfisterer oversees the company’s strategy by guiding business development direction and developing innovative strategies to merge and integrate the latest renewable energy technologies with construction materials for seamlessly integrated systems. He brings 30 years of energy and industry expertise to his position and previously served as President for Pfister Roofing, an award-winning, full-service roofing and waterproofing company. Under Pfisterer’s leadership, Pfister Energy has received multiple Inc500/Inc5000 awards based on significant and consistent annual company growth.
Doug Bagwill is primarily responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with Pfister Energy’s clientele, licensees, and industry partners. Bagwill guides the project development process of multiple renewable and energy efficient technologies from lead development through project completion. Possessing a diverse background of energy system design, project development, and PV project finance, he facilitates the integration of technology, finance and construction best practices to bring the greatest value to Pfister’s clients and industry partners. Bagwill earned a BS from the University of Vermont in Natural Resource Planning with a Minor in Green Building and Community Design.
William Cole (Billy) is the President of the Pfister Energy office in Baltimore, Maryland. Billy oversees the company’s strategy and new business development efforts, as well as the project management and financing for customer projects. Since earning a BS in Business Administration in 2001, Billy has completed numerous NRCA, financial and renewable energy courses.
Billy also currently serves as President of Cole Roofing, an award-winning roofing company that has been providing quality commercial roofing solutions for over 95 years. Billy has worked with numerous companies to integrate renewable energy systems onto their properties. Billy’s technology expertise includes photovoltaics, wind turbines, daylighting systems, solar lighting systems, energy efficiency services, solar thermal systems, rainwater harvesting and green roofing.
Doug Groves is General Manager of Pfister Energy of Baltimore. His role includes implementing systems in the business with the goal of continuous improvement in all phases of the Pfister Energy Enterprise. He provides oversight and implementation of Marketing, Human Resource development and general support of all business functions.
Doug is a former CEO of Carapace LLC, past President of The Joy Companies, and a former Chair for Vistage International. He also serves on several Boards of Advisors.
Doug’s undergraduate is from Wheeling Jesuit University with a Masters in Business from Central Michigan University.
Edward Bentley brings to Pfister Energy 30 years of finance experience. As a CPA, Ed has spent the majority of his career helping business owners achieve their goals, including several HVAC companies. Ed acted as the CFO/Controller of a major HVAC/Engineering company in New Jersey for almost 10 years before joining Pfister Energy. Edward is primarily responsible for the day to day accounting practices, as well as handling the Monthly, Quarterly and Year End Financial reporting and analysis for Pfister Energy. Ed received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Business Management at Stockton university.
Dawn is the Director of Marketing at Pfister Energy. She brings 25 years of experience in traditional and digital marketing, advertising and PR. Her primary responsibilities include brand, content, and customer relationship management, inbound and outbound communications, digital and social media engagement, and event promotion.
Simon brings almost 10 years experience in the renewable energy and carbon emission reduction space. Originally from Cardiff in the UK, he earned his degree at the University of Manchester. Simon has worked with many different types of commercial, municipal and non-profit organizations; consulting with them on how to best deploy the latest technologies to reduce their energy-related operating expenditures and carbon footprints.
Matt works closely with potential customers to capitalize on Project opportunities as well as identify inefficiencies. His goal is to develope best solutions for optimizing onsite facility energy consumption by integrating knowledge of how to best utilize NJ / NY etc.. State incentives and Clean Energy rebate programs available. Matt is a LED Lighting integration specialist and facility auditor (LED Retrofits, High Bay, Office and Outdoor Lighting integration) EV Chargepoint Partner and Authorized sales rep.

Paul C. Jesson
Paul is responsible for office functionality, project continuity, business development and supporting the growth of our renewable energy business. He specializes in promoting offerings and other capital investments that ultimately allow clients to operate more efficiently. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY. His experience prior to Pfister was in electrical distribution and manufacturing where he concentrated on power distribution equipment sales and service solutions for contractors and end-users in Mid-Atlantic region.
Christina is the Project Manager at Pfister Energy. Her background in construction estimating and project management makes her an integral addition to the team. She works closely with our Construction Manager to ensure projects run smoothly. She is involved from the day a contract is signed until the final completion of the project. Her goals are to make sure our projects are running efficiently and that clients are happy with the status and overall result.
Mike is responsible for assisting in and managing all on-going projects at Pfister Energy of Baltimore. He begins coordination and planning after the project is won and continues to oversee it until project completion. His previous background was with SolarCity as a designer where he designed residential solar PV systems from the ground up. Mike holds a B.S. in Energy Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University where he gained a diversified knowledge base of all renewable technologies.
Robert, a second-generation electrician, brings in over 20 years of electrical and 5 years of solar knowledge and experience to Pfister Energy. He holds electrical licenses in New Jersey, Delaware, and 4 different territories within New York including Orange County, Rockland County, Westchester, and City of Poughkeepsie. Robert has supervised and installed roughly 100MW of solar energy throughout the tristate region. Holding OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications, as well as a certification in Programmable Lighting Controls (PLC), he has completed work at many large industrial companies including Revlon, Curtiss-Wright, and Port Authority of NY & NJ to name a few. Lastly, Roberts’s expertise with medium voltage, smart technologies, geothermal and LEED compliant projects make him the perfect electrician to handle any job.
Brian brings to the Pfister Team over 6 years of solar experience. With his hands on practice as a forman and a data acquisition systems specialist he delivers quality service and product knowledge to existing clients. Brian has supervised and installed over 30MW of solar energy throughout the tristate and as far west as California with some big names companies including Target, Coca-Cola and Pierson education.. Holding OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications, as well completion of Chargepoint University Expert Sales Training, Brian is proficient in the latest technology and can provide practical solutions to solve today’s energy issues. Brian has a strong familiarity with products including but not limited to Solar Edge, Locus, Deck, Draker, SMA, and Power-One Systems.
De Kong is the NABCEP Certified Solar PV Installer. He is primarily responsible for designing, procurement, and project development of solar photovoltaic projects. He works closely with Construction and Project Management team with the successful completion and commissioning of Pfister Energy’s Projects. He also assists evaluation of new production and technologies. De Kong earned his MS from Stevens Institute of Technology and BS in Materials Physics from East China University of Science and Technology, Shanghai, China.
Design, analyze and develop turnkey photovoltaic systems and other renewable technologies. Perform high quality and efficient site visits. Manage time and resources effectively, contributing to multiple projects within the firm. Present proposals to internal engineering and business development staff for informal design reviews. Keep up to date with the latest environmental technologies, organizations, or issues.
