Through its partnership with FuelCell Energy, Pfister Energy offers high-efficiency Fuel Cell Power Plants for the production of on-site, distributed energy and backup power applications.

Fuel cells are electrochemical power generators with exceptionally high electrical efficiencies that produce both electricity and heat without combustion and the pollutants associated with burning conventional fuels.

FCE's Direct Fuel Cell systems are an efficient, clean and quiet means of generating energy using natural gas or renewable sources, without the need to first create hydrogen in an external fuel processor.

By displacing energy demand previously met by the utility's high rates, the savings generated from stationary Fuel Cell systems create attractive payback periods in as little as 2 to 3 years, while providing facilities with improved energy security.
